Will design, build and maintain a new public access CNG fuel station. The facility will operate 24/7 to support ACUA's growing fleet of CNG refuse trucks, as well municipal and private CNG fleet vehicles in the area.

Purchase price is approximately $8.3 million. BAF services include natural gas vehicle conversions, alternative fuel systems and research and development. Its vehicle conversions include taxis, limousines, vans, pick-up trucks and shuttle buses.

Facility will be equipped with two fast-fill CNG dispensers plus 24 time-fill CNG dispensers to supply fuel for the OSU’s growing CNG campus bus fleet. The school plans to acquire and deploy 24 new CNG transit buses and 150 CNG fleet vehicles in the next three years, with up to 500 fleet vehicles anticipated within 10 years.

The LNG is used directly to fuel certain buses as well as converted to CNG fuel, which is used to power the balance of the Sun Metro natural gas fleet that includes 144 natural gas buses, together with six diesel buses.

The measure was a $5-billion, first-in-the-nation public investment to provide funds for a wide variety of clean energy projects across the state, including consumer incentives for clean alternative vehicle fuels and the construction of renewable energy generation facilities.

Stations in Atlanta and Oklahoma City will fuel high-volume fleet applications, including hotel, parking, shared ride shuttles and transit buses.
