As with other transit agencies across the country, The T's sales tax revenue has been declining — down by 10 percent since September. The T has implemented salary freezes, cut administrative items and adjusted bus routes to better align route service with rider use.

Services range from providing diapers and overnight toiletry packs to information on other essential travel services, such as where to replace a lost cell phone, rent a car seat, or fill a prescription, and referrals, maps and directions to stores, nearby restaurants and overnight accommodations.

The coalition's purpose will be to provide a forum for an ongoing exchange to assist members in learning more about the operation, management and cost of using clean burning natural gas powered vehicles for transit fleets.
