The Anaheim to Los Angeles segment of the California high-speed rail project is one of 11 federally designated high-speed rail corridors in the nation. Environmental work on the 27-mile segment is on track to be completed next year.

Phase one, scheduled to break ground in 2010, is valued at approximately $180 million and will consist of the transportation center and supporting facilities, rail tracks and platforms, parking, public art and street improvements.
