Pleasanton, Calif.-based Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM), a leading full-service engineering firm, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Gilroy, Calif.-based Higgins Associates Civil & Traffic Engineers.

Higgins Associates is a firm specializing in: traffic demand forecasting; capacity and operational, accident and safety, and parking demand and supply analyses; speed study surveys; and traffic count programs. The company will continue to work out of Gilroy, and will expand the services currently provided by HMM’s Transportation Planning Department.
