STV wins Toronto light rail contract

STV, a North American engineering, architectural, planning and construction management firm, was awarded a 10-year, $125 million contract by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to provide more rapid transit options throughout the city.

The firm will provide program management and project management services to the TTC for Toronto’s Transit City Light Rail Plan. The plan includes seven new light rail transit lines, renewal of the Scarborough Rapid Transit, and four maintenance and storage facilities that will provide an expanded network of rapid transit throughout Toronto.
