Vermont students create bus tracking program

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Two students at the University of Vermont created "blirpit" - Bus Line Information Retrieval - a bus tracking system enabling students to track the school's buses using a laptop or an iPhone in real time. Cell phone users can also send a text message about the route they want and get a text message telling them how many seconds before the bus will arrive at their stop.
