Feds raid Houston bus companies

HOUSTON — Federal agents raided several Houston bus companies suspected of transporting illegal immigrants across the country, according to a report in the Houston Chronicle. Twenty-two people have been charged with conspiracy to transport illegal immigrants, with each conviction carrying a maximum prison sentence of 10 years and a fine of up to $250,000.
