Alstom presents rail vision at Innotrans 2012

Throughout the week, Alstom will be presenting its latest urban, sub-urban, regional, main line and freight trains, including solutions and services, through an impressive model which will be displayed at Alstom Booth #101, Hall 3.2.

Alstom Transport will be exhibiting at InnoTrans — the world's largest rail industry trade fair — from September 18 to 21 in Berlin. Innotrans’ visitors will have the opportunity to discover Alstom’s complete range of products, system and equipment and meet with Alstom Transport experts and top management.

Throughout the week, Alstom will be presenting its latest urban, sub-urban, regional, main line and freight trains, including solutions and services, through an impressive mode,l which will be displayed at Alstom Booth #101, Hall 3.2.

Visitors will also be able to discover a new vision of the rail transport through an animated 3D movie which will present Alstom's latest Citadis Compact, the first model in the New Generation Citadis range. This tramway is especially designed for medium-sized cities. The 3D animation movie room is located at the Alstom booth.

On the outside tracks, Alstom will showcase its Coradia Nordic regional train on track # G3/20. Coradia Nordic regional train is designed to meet with passengers’ requirements in respect to comfort, access and mobility. This train is environmentally friendly and runs under Nordic rigorous cold weather (-35°).

Another train on display is the Citadis Dualis (track G1/4). Combining the best of trains and tramways, Citadis Dualis offers seamless daily journeys between city and suburban centers.

On Tuesday, Sept. 18th, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, President of Alstom Transport, will meet the international press on the theme “Alstom, Designing Fluidity." He will present his vision of the railway market as well as Alstom’s position, performance, strategy, latest innovations and technologies. The press conference will be held at the press center, Hall 6.3, Room C.
