Battery powered railcar mover
Railquip's Battery Powered Maxi Railcar Mover utilizes its full traction weight on the drive wheels to pull 350 tons of trailing load on straight and level track. Its four electric motors, including stepless adjustable control for the individually driven wheel, allow car movement in both directions. The guide wheels can be swiveled by 135 degrees, while off the track the unit has a turning radius of only 63-inches and can easily go on and off track. On elevated track, the Railcar Mover can be operated via radio remote control. Protective caps
The new protective caps for the Series 430 push-pull connectors are designed to provide an IP67-rated environmental protection from liquids and debris while the connector is detached from its mating connector. Each cap is made of brass, which fits securely to the push-pull connector or receptacle, and attaches to the cable or panel via a polyurethane rubber strap to avoid any loss of parts. The new protective caps are available for male and female field-attachable connectors and panel-mount receptacles. When mated to a male or female connector, a cap will provide IP67-rated environmental protection.

Positive Train Control CPU
The MicroLok II VitalNet CPU, a Positive Train Control (PTC) central processing unit, provides Vital PTC compatibility that enables Ansaldo STS USA's customers to leverage existing and new MicroLok II wayside signaling investments in concert with PTC implementation. An existing MicroLok II CPU board is easily exchanged with a VitalNet CPU board, providing a PTC-ready interface. The upgrade does not affect the existing MicroLok II interlocking logic and does not require a re-test of the application logic in most situations. The VitalNet CPU boards are available for order and delivery to customers in volume quantities.

VisionStat Plus is an advanced safety solution that combines two of Mobile Awareness LLC's technologies to aid in the prevention of costly backing accidents. Utilizing a leading-edge obstacle detection sensor system (SenseStat), which is displayed on a backing camera video monitor (VisionStat), the driver is provided both audible and visual information when an obstacle is detected in the rear of the vehicle. The combined features allow for visual confirmation via a CCD camera along with the distance and proximity from any of four sensor zones - the driver sees the exact distance (accurate to one inch), to the closest object on the monitor. The combination of the two products also helps transportation providers save significantly on cost.
