Veolia’s Baltimore management team was also selected for the award because of their commitment to sustainability, a major priority of the company. In the last year, in addition to the fuel-efficient Sprinter program, they implemented biofuels in the vast majority of their vehicles, adopted the use of environmentally-friendly cleaning products and continue to focus on “green” behaviors in their offices and maintenance shops.
