Trapeze Group was awarded a contract from Tennessee-based Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) for a comprehensive transport system to help enhance KAT’s operational efficiency of their fixed route and paratransit transportation services.

The Trapeze solution includes a Web-enabled, browser-based demand response scheduling and dispatch system designed to support KAT’s paratransit services.

Additionally, the system will be further enhanced with Trapeze’s integrated  customer relationship management solution for capturing, monitoring and tracking inquiries and complaints from customers and employees.

KAT will use the new technologies to manage approximately 120 buses ranging from paratransit vans, propane-powered neighborhood service vehicles, rubber-tire trolleys, and 30-, 35- and 40-foot buses.
