INIT named 'Best Place to Work'

Inside Business, a Hampton Roads, Va. business journal, recently awarded 25 local companies the “Best Place to Work” award for their outstanding business practices. Innovations in Transportation (INIT) won first place in the small business category.

The awards were given to companies with a proven ability to be progressive in benefit packages, employee incentives, innovative work styles, community service and the “fun factor.”

Factors contributing to the company being honored included flexible scheduling, a family-friendly work environment, international travel and consistent leadership.

INIT Innovations in Transportation Inc. of Chesapeake, Va. was established and incorporated in 1999 to serve the North American public transportation market.
