Mass. senator urges DOT appointee to quit

BOSTON — On Tuesday, Sen. Steven Baddour called for Janice Loux, recently appointed to the board of the new Massachusetts Department of Transportation, to step down, saying that she would be unable to serve the taxpayers because of her membership on the MBTA Retirement Board.
