TULSA, Okla. — According to Tulsa World, the Tulsa City Council increased the fare for its Lift Program from $2.50 per ride to $3.00 per ride, but will not cut service as initially planned, after riders spoke out against the decrease. The Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority has agreed to cover the $7,800 cost to maintain the hours through the end of the fiscal year. For the full story, click here.
