D.C. paratransit restrictions slow growth

WASHINGTON, D.C. — After years of double-digit percentages of ridership growth that was increasing costs for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, paratransit service MetroAccess has stopped growing, due to increased fares and tighter eligibility requirements, washingtonexaminer.com reported.
