MARIETTA, Ga. — Cobb Community Transit (CCT) and local officials will break ground on the $4.4 million CCT Mobility Center, which would house paratransit and senior services vehicles as well as educate riders about transportation options, according to the South Cobb Patch.
The move follows a decision in July 2011 to cut three CCT routes to help close a $31 million budget shortfall. Transit officials said the building of the facility will use federal dollars and not money from county taxpayers. For the full story, click here.
