Ore. nonprofit shuttle focuses on riders, volunteers

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. — A nonprofit neighborhood shuttle service, which gives free rides on weekends to senior citizens and people with disabilities, provides a 15-person shuttle that runs specific routes on weekends and a neighbor-to-neighbor service that pairs drivers with riders.

Although the service runs on donations and has little overhead to worry about, the board of the NeighborhoodLink is mostly focused on attracting volunteers and riders, reported The Oregonian. For the full story, click here.
