MV Transportation Inc. was selected to continue operation of the Dial-A-Ride and fixed-route services for the City of Manteca of California.
MV has operated the service since 2006 and partnered with Manteca Transit over the past seven years as the transit services have evolved.
The new contract will extend four base years with two one-year renewal options. The transit services will utilize a client-furnished fleet of vehicle and operate from a new transit facility that will open later this month.
MV will employ 13 professional operators and staff to run the transit operation, which includes fleet maintenance.
