HAMPTON, Va. — While gathering public response to proposed fare increases, disabled riders who use Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) paratransit vehicles voiced their concern about increasing their fares from $3 to $4 per trip, according to the Daily Press.

An HRT rate study estimates the overall proposed increases would boost annual revenue by $3.25 million, a 22% increase from last year. For the full story, click here.
