NORTH FORT MEYERS, Fla. — North Fort Meyers Neighbor reported that elderly and disabled residents in the North Fort Meyers, Pine Island and Lehigh Acres areas can now use Lee County Mini-Bus, a service that provides door-to-door service to medical appointments and shopping.

Drivers will help clients into the vehicles and assist them in walking to their doctor's office if needed. If the client is shopping, the driver will also help carry their groceries.

Kenyatta Watts, owner of Lee County Mini-Bus, started the service because of the limited transportation resources in the area. For the full story, click here.
