Less than a year after the system’s debut, talks of an ad policy emerged after vendors showed interest in displaying full wrap or panel advertisements on the new light rail vehicles.
InfraConsult staff members have been involved with the development of the METRO system since the early planning days and are currently providing public involvement and communication strategies services for an 11-mile planned extension of the system, the Phoenix West project.
Transit agencies are relieving some of the costs coming from paratransit programs with travel training mobility centers, in-person assessments and more flexible bus routes.
Valley Metro's online music video campaign, "Valley Metro Notes," consists of 11 songs from six local bands, showing in an entertaining way how to use the transit system. The campaign is geared toward high school, college students and older, with the caveat of not alienating any other demographic.
