Detroit-based Brasco International, a designer and manufacturer of passenger shelters, has been selected for a five-year agreement to provide shelters to the Utah Transit Authority (UTA).

UTA also ordered and will be using the Brasco solar-powered LED lighting systems for its shelters.

Deliveries will begin in 2009, with renewal options through 2012. Brasco has provided shelters to UTA in the past.
