Webb Wheel earns quality certification

The Webb Wheel Products OEM Business Unit manufacturing facility in Tell City, Ind., was awarded ISO/TS16949 quality certification. 

Vehicle component suppliers achieving ISO/TS16949 certification meet rigorous standards for developing a quality management system that provides for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste. The Tell City facility is a green field site that opened in 2005. 

The supplier’s OEM Business Unit Tell City plant produces hubs, drums and rotors for heavy duty trucks and trailers, including the new Webb Vortex lightweight gray iron brake drum.
