TriMet riders traveling alone between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. can now ask the bus operator to stop anywhere along the route — not just at designated stops.
Riders just need to let the operator know where to stop a block or two in advance. He or she will pull over at a safe place.
TriMet is making this service is available anywhere outside Portland City Center and the Lloyd District.
