Calif.'s OCTA to cut bus service by 8 percent

The Orange County (Calif.) Transportation Authority's board voted on Monday to slash 150,000 hours of service, which would go into effect March 2010. The initial plan to cut 300,000 hours was bypassed in hopes the economy would improve early next year.
