Ottawa students support mandatory transit pass

OTTAWA — The City of Ottawa has reached an agreement with OC Transpo, Carleton University and the University of Ottawa to adopt a universal student bus pass in a one-year pilot program, according to the Ottawa Citizen. Students have voted in favor of the passes, which would be mandatory and are designed to encourage students to take public transit. To read the full story, click here.
