PORTLAND, Ore. — Following 11 years of leadership, TriMet's GM Fred Hansen said that he will retire when his contract expires in June, reports the Oregonian. Hansen, 63, said the agency's economic troubles, which have chipped away at his aggressive expansion of high-frequency bus service, had nothing to do with his decision.
