State looking into Maryland transit layoffs

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Sources tell The Capital that in reaction to recent layoffs at Annapolis Transit, the Maryland Transportation Administration is asking Annapolis officials for assurances that the city is properly maintaining buses and staffing the city Transportation Department.
