Blog: Poor transit at root of Rio street dweller problem?

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — With many high-profile events scheduled to be held in Rio — the World Cup 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 — city officials are looking for ways to combat poverty and get the estimated 5,000 street dwellers off the streets.
