NEW YORK — Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano filed a suit against the Metropolitan Transportation Authority over a tax that subsidizes train and bus service on Long Island, according to the AP. The lawsuit, filed in State Supreme Court, came a day after the agency said it could no longer fund bus service in the county because of a budget shortfall. For the full story, click here.
