JONESBORO, Ark. — The Jonesboro Economical Transportation System is creating a plan to help first-time bus riders navigate the system with the assistance of volunteers called “Transit Buddies.” The “Buddies,” experienced transit users, can help newcomers learn how to read route maps and schedules, plan trips, board buses, pay the appropriate fares and make transfers, according to the Jonesboro Sun.
