U. of M., Ann Arbor transit conduct bus, rail improvement projects

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — In response to a need for a more efficient mode of transit between the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor’s North and Central Campuses, Ann Arbor Transit Authority is working with the University and city officials on two projects to enhance local and county transit, The Michigan Daily reports.

The first project, the Ann Arbor Connector Feasibility Study, will identify advanced transit options that would be installed in the city, such as trains or larger buses. The second project is the agency’s countywide transit master plan, which is aimed at improving and expanding the city’s busing system. For the full story, click here.
