SEPTA pass labels anger transgendered riders

PHILADELPHIA — Transgender activists are challenging the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority’s practice of using stickers indicating “male” or “female” on weekly and monthly passes, UPI.com reports. The agency says that it uses the practice to keep riders from sharing passes, and that as a state agency, it is not bound by the city's bias laws. For the full story, click here.
