LOS ANGELES - In an attempt to cut costs and make the system more efficient, L.A. Metro will cut more bus service even as it continues to expand rail services, according to the L.A. Times. The latest overhaul will slash overall bus service by 12 percent and increase the number of passengers on individual buses. Nine routes are set to be eliminated in June and 11 more would be cut back.
