PORTLAND, Ore. — A TriMet bus driver steering his No. 77 bus west over the Steel Bridge Tuesday morning helped save the life of a woman attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge, according to an OregonLive.com report. Rick Sound, a bus driver for the transit agency for 24 years, pulled the woman to safety with the help of a passenger and a passing motorist.
