MINNEAPOLIS — Members of the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU), Local 1005, and Metro Transit reached an agreement Monday on a two-year contract for bus and rail operators, according to KARE 11.

The new deal includes a two-year wage freeze and shares the increases in insurance costs between ATU members and the Metropolitan Council, which operates Metro Transit. The agreement still needs approval of the Metropolitan Council. For the full story, click here.
