Chicago Transit Authority fights transit security funding cuts

CHICAGO — On Wednesday, Chicago Transit Authority President Richard Rodriguez appealed to U.S. House Committee members not to make cuts to public transit security, especially considering that Osama Bin Laden’s death may risk retaliation from his supporters, CBS Chicago reported.

Additionally, U.S. Rep. Peter King, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said mass transit is the most vulnerable to a terrorist attack. For the full story, click here.
