Wash. bus fleet feels strain of student ridership

PULLMAN, Wash. — With ridership at its peak and more Washington State University students using Pullman Transit buses, the service is experiencing overcrowding, which officials believe will get worse in the fall with the start of the new school year, The Daily Evergreen reported. To help mitigate the reliability issues caused by the ridership strains, the transit system is using supplemental buses on some routes. To read the full story, click here.
