CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Transportation Security Administration (TSA) teams are conducting more and more searches and screenings in subways, train stations and other public transit locations, Los Angeles Times reported.

The TSA's 25 Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response teams have run more than 9,300 unannounced checkpoints and other search operations in the last year. For the full story, click here.
