D.C. Metro drivers call for more bathroom break time

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority's Metrobus operators say there is a lack of adequate time and clean facilities along their routes for bathroom breaks between runs, which has at times led to health issues, The Washington Post reported.

A Metro chief spokesman told the Post that there are procedures in place allowing drivers to take bathroom breaks and that the agency recently started a hot line for bus operators to provide input on route scheduling changes. For the full story, click here.
