TARTA using 'ghost riders' to monitor drivers

TOLEDO, Ohio — "Ghost riders" monitoring Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority buses gave generally positive feedback in their assessment of vehicle operators, but did recommend some areas for improvement, reported the Toledo Blade.

The assessments are part of a program organized by a public transportation insurance consortium where participating Ohio-based transit agencies give feedback on partner agencies' drivers. To read the full story, click here.
