WASHINGTON, D.C. — Court papers show that two Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (Metro) employees accused of stealing thousands of dollars in fares are negotiating a possible plea deal, The Washington Post reported.

Metro’s chief spokesman told the Post that he brought in a large accounting firm to review the agency’s revenue center and the processes used to handle the money. For the full story, click here.
