Detroit DOT gets new buses, CEO

DETROIT — The Detroit Department of Transportation recently brought Ron Freeland on board as its new CEO and received 46 new buses, CBS Detroit reported.

News of Freeland’s appointment comes one week after Detroit announced it is ending early morning bus service in an effort to help cut nearly $11 million in costs. The new buses provide better passenger comfort and increased use of intelligent vehicle systems. For the full story, click here.
