Union workers vow to strike during Olympic Games

LONDON — Union workers ranging from passport inspectors to train drivers have vowed to go on strike or cut their hours during the Olympic Games, which start in London on Friday, over issues ranging from pension-plan contributions to bonuses for extra work during the Olympics.

Thousands of bus drivers, subway staff and others have already canceled walkouts after being offered Olympic bonus packages worth, in some cases, more than $1,600, USA Today reported. For the full story, click here.
