Survey: Atlanta voters favor tolls for transit funding

ATLANTA — savannahnow.com reported that as policymakers look for alternatives to the recent one percent transportation sales tax referendum failure, a survey conducted by Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies shows that drivers prefer taxes in smaller doses and those they can potentially avoid, with tolls being the most favored alternative.
