AUBURN, Ala. — Groome Transportation has made changes to Auburn University’s Tiger Transit drivers’ contracts, which include such benefits as an end-of-year bonus and overtime pay, as well as additional personal, holiday and sick days, reports the Opelika-Auburn News.

The contract changes met most, if not all, of what the drivers originally requested. The new contract also lowers the required employee contribution for the individual health care plan to $50 per pay period, with Groome contributing in excess of 50% of the balance.
