NOVA SCOTIA — Recently introduced legislation will give the Nova Scotia Minister of Transportation the authority to regulate intercity bus service. The change would give bus companies more flexibility to respond to market changes and demand, reported CBC News.

The intercity bus service act will allow bus operators to make timely, reasonable changes to tarifs, schedules and routes without incurring the cost of hiring a lawyer and attending a Utility and Review Board hearing. To read the full story, click here.
