Minn. planners shifting to BRT over rail

ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Star Tribune reported that city planners are changing their outlook to favor bus rapid transit over commuter rail as a better public transit option for the area.

Since a 2007 analysis of transit alternatives selected a commuter rail line as the future transportation choice, planners have seen the Northstar Commuter Rail struggle with operating costs. For the full story, click here.
