RIPTA taps police commander for CEO

PROVIDENCE, R.I.  — Providence Journal reported that the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority board voted to offer a one-year contract to Raymond B. Studley, the state police commander put in charge of the authority by Gov. Lincoln Chafee last August. Studley has not yet accepted the job. For the full story, click here.
