WASHINGTON, D.C. — D.C. Streetsblog reported that Salt Lake City, located in a “remote setting in a red state” is the only city in the country that is currently building light rail, bus rapid transit, streetcars and commuter rail simultaneously. Much of the progress can be attributed to an organization called "Envision Utah," which shared a vision and plan that has been recognized as one of the most promising smart growth models in the U.S.
